B1/ BEC Preliminary

Description / Goal: This course focuses on the skills required to successfully pass the BEC Preliminary examination as designed by Cambridge University and normally lasts two semesters. Students will work closely with business course book material and will need to spend 2-3 hours per week on self-study and homework. There will be revision work and students will be expected to sit a progress test in order to continue with the second semester. In the final semester, students will work with test papers and two mock exams are included as part of the course. If a student is strong enough, he/she can begin with the second semester. The course is also suitable for students who need business English but do not wish to take an examination. Students should complete a special entry test before starting the course. Please contact us to arrange an appointment for the test, which takes about one hour. B2 / First Certificate / FCE Preparation course

Description / Goal: This course focuses on the skills required to successfully pass the FCE examination as designed by Cambridge University. This course normally lasts two or three semesters. In both the first and second semester, students will work closely with course book material and need to spend 2-3 hours per week on self-study and homework. There will be revision units and students will be expected to sit progress tests in order to continue in the following semesters. In the final semester, students will work mainly with test papers and two mock exams are included as part of the course. If a student is strong enough, he/she may complete the course in only one or two semesters. Students should complete a special entry test before starting the course. C1 / Certificate of Advanced English / CAE Preparation course

Description / Goal: This course focuses on the skills required to successfully pass the CAE examination as designed by Cambridge University. Here, it is very important to improve your vocabulary as well as learning some of the more advanced aspects of the use of English. In the first and second semester, students will work closely with course book material and will need to spend 2-3 hours per week on self-study and homework. There will be revision units and students will be expected to sit progress tests in order to continue in the following semesters. In the final semester, students will work mainly with test papers and two mock exams are included as part of the course. It is an advantage, but not a necessity, to already be in possession of an FCE diploma before you begin this course. If a student is strong enough, he/she may complete the course in only one or two semesters. Students should complete a special entry test before starting the course. C1/ BEC Higher

Description / Goal: This course focuses on the skills required to successfully pass the BEC Higher examination as designed by Cambridge University and normally lasts two semesters. Students will work closely with business course book material and will need to spend 2-3 hours per week on self-study and homework. There will be revision work and students will be expected to sit a progress test in order to continue with the second semester. In the final semester, students will work with test papers and two mock exams are included as part of the course. C2 / Certificate of Proficiency in English / CPE

Description / Goal: This course focuses on the skills required to successfully pass the CPE examination as designed by Cambridge University. Here it is very important to expand your range of vocabulary, your understanding of different styles as well as focus on further advanced aspects of the use of English. You will be exposed to a wide variety of texts and styles to help you do this. In both the first and second semester, students will work closely with course book material and will need to spend 2-3 hours per week on self-study and homework. Students will be expected to sit progress tests in order to continue in the following semesters. In the final semester, students will work mainly with test papers and two mock exams are included as part of the course. It is an advantage to already be in possession of a CAE diploma before you begin this course. If a student is strong enough, he/she may complete the course in only one or two semesters.
