We will attempt to identify those areas of the exam which
cause most problems and provide ideas and materials for
solving these problems and helping your students to perform
to the best of their ability. Participants should be familiar with
the format of the examination.

A practical look at approaches to this area of teaching

We will look at various ways of teaching and correcting

Working with B1/B2 Learners
This workshop deals with the underlying principles behind
teaching students at these levels with special reference to the
BEC Preliminary & First Certificate exams. We will look at
potential problems and solutions to these problems. In the
morning we will concentrate on the Use of English and
teaching tenses and in the afternoon the conversational skills
and techniques necessary for the speaking test.

20 More Ready-Made Lessons
This is another practical workshop aimed at intermediate level
but the materials can be adapted to suit other levels. We will
include grammar-based lessons, vocabulary-based lessons,
discussion work, some writing components and
communicative activities. This is a new instalment in a very
popular series of workshops.

be a lot of practical and challenging material which may also

Castle's has been running workshops for English teachers for over 20 years. Our aim is very simple: that teachers leave a workshop with plenty of ideas that they can immediately use in the classroom. We do not overload you with lots of
theory.
